It is with broken hearts that the family of Adam Wayte announces his sudden passing on June 2, 2026, at the age of 50 years. Adam left us far too soon, and words can hardly express the loss we feel.
Adam is survived by his loving family, wife Lisa, children Marissa and James. His parents LaVern and Heather Wayte, his sister Sommer, brother-in-law Victor, his nieces Hannah and Aubrey, along with many loving extended family members and friends.
Adam was zealous about his work in Aerospace Telecommunications. He was a dedicated employee and was at the peak of his career. Adam will be deeply missed by his colleagues and work family.
An avid outdoors man, Adam loved hunting, fishing, and always found peace during camping and ATV trips in Calabogie with dear friends Shane and Danielle.
Over the years, Adam developed a passion for cooking, he had an untrained talent for
flavour profiling, creating delicious meals while using every dish, pan and pot in the kitchen.
He will forever be in our hearts.
An Urn visitation and Memorial will be held on Monday June 15th, 2026 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place, ON.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Lanark Country Mental Health would be appreciated by the family.
A Celebration of Adam’s life will take place at a later date near Napanee, Ontario
