Hewitt, Alma (Beth) Elizabeth

July 2, 1934 – April, 24, 2023

Peacefully at Granite Ridge Care Community with loving family at her side. Beth passed away on April 24, 2023 at the age of 88.

Dear mother of Shelley (Tim Purdy), Marlene (Barry Goddard), Heather (Delmer Sample) and Jim Hewitt (Sheryl). Sister of Helen Bond. She is the daughter of the late Claude Bond and Margaret Lever. She is predeceased by her daughter Sheryl (Ross MacGregor), her sisters, Claudette (Don Slatford) and Linda MacLean, brother John Bond (JoAnn) and Fred Bond as well as the father of her children, Sterling Hewitt.  
GMA will be fondly remembered by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and many friends who were like family to her.

 

The family would like to thank the staff at Orchard House of Granite Ridge Care Community in Stittsville, Ontario for the excellent 6 years of care that Mom/GMA received.


A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the Holy Spirit Parish, 1489 Shea Rd, Stittsville, ON. Inurnment will follow at the Huntley United Cemetery in Carp.


Memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
