Rochon, André P. Marc

At Fairview Manor on Tuesday August 10, 2021 at the age of 91.

Predeceased by his wife Nancy. Father of Marc (Janet), Francois (Diane), Denise (Jerry) and André Jr. Grandfather of Marco, Joseph, Jesse and Cristal. Great-grandfather of Damien. Brother of Odette and Marcels.

André was an avid hockey player, he played for the Brighton Tigers in England at 16 years old, went to the Boston Bruins Training Camp and played hockey in many countries around the world and continued skating into his 80’s. He was also passionate about antiques, owning his own store in Merrickville, ON for a time.

A private graveside service was held for family at Notre-Dame Cemetery, Ottawa.

For those who wish, a donation to the Almonte General Hospital - Fairview Manor Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home Carleton Place.
