August 13, 1981 – November 24, 2022

Our beautiful, amazing daughter passed away suddenly at age 41 on November 24, 2022. Predeceased by her uncles Frank Stote and Chris Baker, and partner Mitch Helps. She leaves behind to mourn her loving and devoted parents, Judy and Wes Stote of Appleton, brother
Matt (Johanna), nieces Anarah and Sahai of Pickering, Baker aunts and uncle Patty, Frank, Claudia, Wendy, Gloria, and Adrian (Rob Crétain), Stote aunts and uncles Dan (Kathy), Phil (Jean), Yammy (Boris), Larry, and Frances (Michael), many cousins, many friends, special friend Mike McLean Stefan, and her beloved cat, Tanno. Andrea was a strong, vibrant, passionate person who loved to laugh and had a wicked sense of humour. She was a very talented artist and photographer, having completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a minor in History at the University of Ottawa and a Diploma in Photography at Algonquin College. She was adept at masonry work in her chimney sweeping company, Chim-Chiminey. Andrea loved animals, especially dogs and cats. She had many pets over the years, including cats, hamsters, a rabbit and fish. She loved camping, the outdoors, and sunsets, and was an excellent cook. Andrea was a favourite of Grandpa Reg Baker, who called her his “little angel”.

Friends may visit at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place, on Monday December 5 from 1 pm to 3 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lanark Animal Welfare Society, www.lanarkanimals.ca, in Andrea’s honour would be appreciated.
