It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ange-Aime Blanchette, after battling terminal cancer. He passed away peacefully at the Carleton Place District Hospital on April 14,2026 surrounded by his loved ones. Ange-Aime was born October 2, 1935 in Cap Des Rosiers Quebec and lived in Carleton Place, Ont.  He was the beloved husband of Stella (Gingras) for 63 years, a cherished father to Chantal (Lorne Booth). He was a much loved grandfather to his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, to his sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the Dr’s, nurses, and all the staff at Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital for all their care.
