Angela Jones Young Obituary

Angela Jones Young

Angie left us to be with her Creator two years ago, on March 18, 2020.

She is survived by her son Byron (Jess), daughter Leah, mother Carolyn, brother Ron (Jolan), niece Amanda (Cory), nephew Zac (Meaghan), many friends and her furry companion Coco. She was predeceased by her father Ken Jones.

We will love you forever Angie and we miss you every day.  You always made us feel so loved and valued.

Angie had the biggest and kindest heart.  She volunteered at the Ottawa Inner-city Ministry where she loved and cared for the marginalized people on the streets.  She also visited schools with "Coco", her St. John's Ambulance Therapy Dog.  Together they comforted many students during exams and other issues.   She was also an active member of the Kanata Baptist Church.  The congregation always walked the walk and she walked with them.

A private service will be held.  The Interment of Ashes will be at St. James Cemetery in Carleton Place at a later date.  At her request, engraved on her gravestone:

Rejoice!  I am now with our Creator

We will be together again.
