Anthony (Tony) Vella
It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Anthony (Tony) Vella, 92, who left this world to be with God on Friday, June 6, 2025 surrounded by family.
Beloved husband of 58 years to Mae (nee Mifsud). Loving father of Ingrid (Darren) and cherished Nannu to Alexandra and Cassidy. Dear brother to Sister Emmanuelina Vella, Romeo (Gina) Vella, Josephine (Samson) Legeusse and Emma Peterman. Also left to mourn are his in-
laws, Miriam widow of Lawrence Vella and Vivienne widow of Tommy Vella. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends. Pre-deceased by his parents, Maria and Vincent Vella and siblings Father Diego Vella, Carmen Bartolo (Joe), Lawrence Vella, Tommy Vella and George Vella (in infancy).

Visitation will be held at the Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place on Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. with a Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 28 Hawthorne Avenue, Carleton Place at 1:30 p.m. (The Mass will be livestreamed on St. Mary's facebook page.) Burial will follow the mass at St. Mary's Parish Cemetery, Carleton Place with a reception to follow at St. Mary's Parish Hall.
