She also leaves behind her dear great-grand nieces Amelia and Zoe. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Mildred. Barbara was predeceased by her loving parents Alexander and Winifred Hamilton, her sister Doreen and her brother Donald.

Barbara was born and raised in Carleton Place and was well known and loved by a great many of the townsfolk. A very kind and generous soul, Barb was actively involved with volunteering in the community.
