Munro, Barry Wayne
It is with heavy hearts that we announce Barry's passing on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. After a short battle with cancer, he is now at peace.
He is survived by his sisters Evelyn Barr, Norma Blair (Herb) and brother Glen Munro (Elaine). He is predeceased by his oldest brother Eldon Munro (Rita). Barry will be lovingly remembered by his children Brad Munro (Pam Young) and Krista Ward (Matthew Ward). Proud Bampa to four grandchildren, Carver Ward, Payton Ward, MacKenzie Munro and Ashton Munro. Forever cherished by partner Diane Yuill and lifelong best friend Dianne Munro.
Barry was a carpenter, jack of all trades, musician and comedian right until the end.
A special thank you to Sarah Munro (Bayshore) and Leah Hasset (PSW) for taking such wonderful care of him and making it possible to spend the rest of his days in the home that he built.
As per Barry's wishes, there will be a celebration of life at the Carleton Place Arena, upstairs hall, 75 Neelin Street on Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 4pm to 8pm.
For those who wish, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society, would be appreciated by the family.
