Passed peacefully in her sleep into the arms of Jesus on May 2, 2025 at the age of 87 at Stoneridge Manor. Beloved wife of the late Walter Buffam. Daughter of the late Melville and Agnes Royce (nee Arthur). Dear sister of Muriel Trick and Lynn Royce (Cindy). Predeceased by sisters Marjorie Stavenow and Kathleen Eccleshall, brothers Robert “Bob” (the late Valerie), Delmer (survived by Janet), Eldon, and infant sister Margaret Ellen. Loving mother of daughters Cheryl Buffam (Terry), Karen Leighton (Scott), and Krista Drew (Trace). Predeceased by her son Douglas. Cherished grandmother to Matthew (Amber), Diana (Will), the late Jonathan Proulx, Joseph (Tara), Brett, Kurt, Nicole, Breanna, and Kiera-Lynn (Luke). Great-grandma to Nathan, Emma, Bentley, Amelia, Neveah, Ava, Noah, Niko, Isabelle, Raya, and Everly.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home (19 McArthur Ave, Carleton Place) on Friday May 16, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 12:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte Ontario.
