Bryon Maynard

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bryon Edward Maynard on September 30th, 2024 at the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital with his family by his side. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Kelsie (Pat) and Brogan (Elyse); grandchildren: Ava, Aiden, Mikayla, and Avaleigh; siblings Ray (Joanne), David (Sue) and Karin (the late Brett). He is also survived several nieces and nephews. Bryon was predeceased by his parents Donald Maynard, Tressa Smith and his sister Beverley.

Proud member of "The Chub Club", Bryon may have been involved in a prank or two. His sense of humour was like no other and shone through right to the end. He loved hunting and fishing with the lads. Always smiling, the definition of stubborn, and always there willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He will be missed greatly by so many.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Jennifer Laskey as well as the nurses at Carleton Place Hospital for their care.

A celebratIon of life will be held at the Almonte Civitan Club on November 30th, 2024 from 3pm-7pm.
