Peacefully, at the Carleton Place Hospital, on Thursday September 26, 2024, at the age of 70. Life long partner and best friend of Debbie Gibson for 45 years. Survived by his daughter Mrs. Deanne Kuntz of Saskatoon SK. Dear brother of Benita Drinkwater of Ottawa. Survived by his cousin Mrs. Christine Weir, of Carleton Place. Only son of the late Benjamin and Aileen Drinkwater (nee Miller) of Smiths Falls ON.  Charlie’s work history started in the mines in Thompson MB, and ended at the Canadian Golf and Country Club in Carleton Place.

As per Charlie’s request, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place.
