Clifford William Stanfield
October 28, 1941 – December 11, 2023
Born 1941 in England. Beloved husband of the late Joyce Stanfield. Father to Clifford John Stanfield (Catherine) and the late Helen Marie Bell. Brother to Lynnette and the late RoseMarie. Survived by grandchildren Stephanie, Chris and Sarah. Great grandchildren Maverick, Isaac, Darian, Delilah and Ella. Great Great granddaughter Everleigh, as well as many nieces and nephews in England and western Canada and Carleton Place area.
Cliff grew up in England, residing in Nottingham where he married and raised his children until he immigrated to Canada in 1975 to be with his extended family. He lived and worked in Carleton Place and area and finished his work life as a machinist in the area.
He was an avid nature lover and bird watcher and contributed enthusiastically to that community. He was a car and motorcycle enthusiast as well. His knowledge on both subjects was impressive and his interest continued all through his life.
A heartfelt thank you goes out from his family to the excellent, compassionate care provided by Dr. Spooner and staff and to the stellar ongoing home care provided by the entire team of Bayshore Homecare Services.
There will be no service, as requested.
