Debbie Dykeman Obituary

Debbie Dykeman

My beloved Mother (Debbie Dykeman) recently passed peacefully from her battle with cancer at the age of 72 on Sunday, March 5th, 2023. Debbie was Predeceased by her parents Margaret Harding ( birth Mom ) and Ethel Hrushowy and Henry Hrushowy. Debbie was a wonderful mother, Sister, Aunt and friend! who touched the lives of those around her. She leaves behind her best friend and Daughter Janice (Shorts) and loving boyfriend of 7 yrs Randy as well as her baby sister Kim who she shared a special Bond with she had always wanted when she found her birth family Debbie Came from a small family growing up youngest of 3 kids till she met her birth mother and gained 12 other siblings to be the oldest! She was born in Manitoba and moved to Ottawa and started her life here in Carleton place in 85
Debbie dedicated her life to… Always helping people no matter what the situation was she would say every time * its what we do* she was so kind-hearted and loving and always warmed up the room when she came in with her smile! Debbie loved to drive she drove everywhere all across North America hauling different products and always had some kinda story to tell us when she came home Everyone growing up wanted Debbie as their mom u but she was mine (shorts) or friend she gained many other children over the years and called them her kids that to this day still call her mom.
It was Debbie's wish that her friends and family not cry over her body and get together at later date for a Celebration of her wonderful life!

This isn't goodbye this is just a see you soon!
