She is also survived by her siblings Colleen (Kevin, deceased), Sharon, Eadie (Pat), Maureen (Randy), and Moira. Dianne is lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Dianne had a wonderful love of life and a remarkable way of connecting with people. Her kindness, warmth, and spirit left a positive impact on all who knew her. For the past three years, she was an active and valued member of the Landmark Court Residence, serving as a welcoming Ambassador—one of the roles she enjoyed most. She greeted new residents with genuine warmth, helped them settle in, and made everyone feel at home.
Dianne had many passions. She was an avid gardener, knitter, painter, and a world traveler who embraced new experiences with enthusiasm. She was also a devoted member of various parishes throughout Ottawa and Lanark County. Professionally, Dianne enjoyed a long and successful career in the public service, retiring from the Federal Court of Canada.
Above all, Dianne treasured time with her family and friends—especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and she will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
Thank you to the staff and residents of Landmark Court Retirement Residence for their kindness and exceptional quality of care, with special thanks to Cathy and Jane.
Thank you as well to the doctors and nurses of the Ottawa Hospital Riverside Family Health unit and Civic campus for their generous support and amazing care for both Dianne and our family.
