It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our small but mighty cowgirl Donna Howell on Sunday, April 7th in her 65th year,

Beloved wife of Richard Howell. Cherished mother of Jessika (Ali) and Lori (Laura). Loving grandmother of Addison, Avery, Archer and Aaliyah. Beloved daughter of Bud and Jean. Much loved sister to Craig (Susan) and Kevin (Terry-Lynn).  Beloved daughter-in-law of Ross and Joan. Cherished sister-in-law of Linda (Darrell), Tom (Charlene), Al (Anne), Dave (Kathy) and Lynn (Gary). Adopted Mom of her beloved Dale ponies Leroy and Elvis.

Donna’s family was everything to her. There was nothing she wouldn’t do to demonstrate her love for all of us. That same passion carried over into her work as a Crisis Counsellor for abused women. As their advocate, she worked tirelessly to improve their lives in any way possible. Her empathy and compassion appeared limitless.

Donna’s other passion was the ranch, her horses and her ranch family. Simply speaking, it was her happy place. She rode her beloved pony Leroy up until the very end.

Ride on cowgirl. Gallop with the angels.

At Donna’s request, a small family viewing has already taken place. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
