DONNA ANN SHIRLEY STANLEY

Donna peacefully passed away at Stoneridge Manor in Carleton Place on January 16th, 2024. Born on July 28th, 1937, in Buckingham, Quebec, she spent her formative years in Ottawa. Donna briefly resided and worked in Boston, USA, before embarking on a career with the Federal Government of Canada, from which she retired.

Known for her unwavering independence and fondness for hats, Donna was a woman of strength and character. She is preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn and Lester Stanley, as well as her brothers Barry and William Stanley. Donna is survived by her nieces Lesleigh and Tracy, who will cherish her memory dearly.

Her passing leaves a void in the lives of her closest friends of five decades, as well as in the hearts of her nieces. Donna's legacy of resilience and warmth will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
