1954 - 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce, on February 26, 2025,  the passing of a beloved husband of 33 years to Bridgette Wilhelm (nee Lawson). Loving stepdad to Jasmine Belliveau (Joel), and adoring papa to his grandchildren Ryker and Ainsley.  Edgar is survived by his mother Marlies Wilhelm and predeceased by his father Jacob Wilhelm. He will be missed by his siblings Gerald Wilhelm (Mary), and Peter Wilhelm (Teresa), his brother-in-law George Lawson (Shirley), sisters-in-law Anita Lavallie (Alan), Ann Slaughter (Ron) and Jeanie Lawson. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and dedicated friends. 

Edgar filled his life with laughter, love and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories for those who knew him. He was selfless until the end, always helping those around him.  

We plan to have a celebration of life for family and friends this spring in Strathroy, Ontario. Cremation has already taken place.

Thank you to the medical team at the Carleton Place Hospital for all your heroic effort and support during an unimaginable time.
