Edith Devlin

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Edith Margaret Elizabeth Devlin (Crosbie) on September 21, 2024, in the Ottawa Civic Hospital. Edith Margaret Elizabeth Devlin (Crosbie) was born March 8,1937 in Flower Station, Ontario. She was a Red Cross Homemaker for many years. She enjoyed her country music and watching The Young and the Restless.  She was dearly loved by her family and friends. She is survived by her children Dan Devlin, (Lorraine Hickson) Debbie Dixon, (Steve Dixon) and Dawn Macwaters, (Duncan Macwaters). Granddaughters Nicole Devlin, Jessica Devlin, Paige Dixon, Cali Dixon and Great Granddaughter Maple Neave.  She was preceded in death by her husband Gary Devlin, her son Dale Devlin and grandson McCormick Dixon.  

Visitation will be held at Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Ave. in Carleton Place, on Friday September 27, 2024, from 2pm to 8pm. A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 10am in the chapel. Interment at United Cemeteries followed by a reception at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
