It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Elizabeth Hope (Punkin) at Queensway-Carleton Hospital, Ottawa on Saturday, April 5th, 2025, at the age of 60. Born in Carleton Place, Ontario on March 22, 1965. Reunited with her father, Robert (Bob) Hope, who has waited 32 years to hug his little Punkin.
Elizabeth is survived by her loving Mother, Isabel Hope. She leaves behind her beloved brother Greg (Linda) and sister Margaret (Peter). Elizabeth also leaves behind her nieces and many nephews that she always made feel special; Derek (Tilly), Ashley (Jay), Tiffany (Tom), Anthony, Adrian (Wendy), and Quinton (Mikayla). As well as her great nieces and nephews; Emmett, Blake, Angela, Liya, Jaxon, Jasper and Daisy. Elizabeth will be remembered as a cherished loving friend to Andrew and Marcus. Elizabeth is sadly missed by her fur, baby Snoopy and is reunited with her beloved fur baby, King. Elizabeth will be extremely missed by her many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Anyone who knew Elizabeth knew she was a huge Ottawa Senators fan, you name it she had it from keychains, to door signs, sweaters, and plaques etc etc.
A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital as well as a very special thank you to Dr. Maria Bastin-Miller for taking such great care of Elizabeth.
