In her 98th year, after a life well lived, Elspeth Nixon passed on to her next journey.
 

Elspeth was the beloved wife of Jim Nixon (deceased 1987). Daughter of Charles and Andrena Shaw (deceased), and sister of Don (deceased). Sister-in-law of Keith and Freda Nixon (deceased) and Floyd (deceased). Survived by sister-in-law Hazel Cameron (Harry deceased), many nieces and nephews and special family friends Roger and Barbara Drake and their family.

Heartfelt thank you to everyone at The Terrace, Elspeth’s home for the last 5 years, Carleton Place Hospital staff and Dr. Drake and Dr. Meyers for care and kindness.

Visitation will take place at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place, on Thursday April 27, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Inurnment later at McLaughlin Cemetery, Vankleek Hill.
