Syme, Emma Viola (nee Howie)

Peacefully at the Carleton Place Hospital on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at the age of 95.

Predeceased by her husband Nelson. Dearly loved mother of Glen (Ellen), Karen (Lonny Lytle) and Audrey Syme. Proud grandmother of Travis (Jane), Trudy and Jordan. Great-grandmother of Reid and Lochlin. Predeceased by her brothers Allan, Armer, Bill and Sterling, and her sister Doris Murray. Survived by her sister-in-law Grace Howie.

Friends may call at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place, Ontario on Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service Monday in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte.
