In Loving Memory of Ernest Alfred Hamilton “Alf”

December 15th, 1932 – July 4th, 2026

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Alfred Hamilton, who left us peacefully on July 4th, 2026 at the age of 93.  

Loving father to Debbie. Special grandfather to Lisa (Brad) and Rebecca. Caring great grandfather to Tyson, Cooper, Kylie and Corey-Anne (Ronnie) and great-great grandpa to Juniper. Survived by his brother Cecil and predeceased by his brothers Herb, Harold, Mel, Alex, Carl, Lorne, David and his sisters Doris and Wreta. Predeceased by his parents William and Christina.

Alf had a passion for the fiddle and even custom made some of his own. It carried a joy throughout his life spending time with family and friends with the love for music.

Though Alf may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever remain in our hearts.

Friends  may visit and support the family at Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Ave, Carleton Place, on Wednesday, July 8th, 2026, from  11a.m. to 1p.m. followed by a service in the chapel at 1p.m. with procession to United Cemeteries.
