With sad hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Frank Jeremiah Thompson on Friday, April 5, 2024 at the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Elizabeth "Beth" (McLean), daughter Shanna, granddaughter Aria, along with his brothers Aubrey and Roger Thompson.

Frank was a stoic man, who loved his family. He enjoyed the outdoors, deer hunting and fishing. You could catch him singing an old country song, going to auctions or tinkering in the backyard.

A special thank-you to Dr. Jennifer Laskey, and the Nursing Staff of the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital.

Friends may join the family for visitation at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place on Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 11am to 1pm with a memorial service to follow at 1pm in the funeral home chapel. A reception will follow from 2 to 4 pm at at the Captain A. Roy Brown, Legion Branch 192, 177 George Street, Carleton Place.

For those desiring, donations to the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital Foundation, the Hunger Stop or Lanark County Interval House, (see web links below), would be appreciated by Frank's family.
