McGregor, Franklin John, in his 86th year, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 10, 2024, at the Carleton Place Hospital after a short illness.
He was predeceased by his parents, George “Pete” and Evelyn (Cooke), brothers Stewart (late Adeline) and Jim. Frank is survived by his longtime friend, Richard Alexander, sister Patricia (late Ken Campbell), brothers Brian (Sandra) and Peter (Cathy) and two generations of nieces and nephews.
Frank was a life long resident of Carleton Place and a Florida snowbird. He was a division manager at Sears Carlingwood, choir member at St. James Anglican Church and a member the Almonte Civitan Club.
A graveside service will be held at St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, Innisville, Ontario, on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Carleton Place Hospital Foundation or St. James Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.
Frank was a friend to all and cherished by many.
