A gentle man is now reunited with the love of his life. We the daughters of Fred Ford are saddened to advise that dad passed away peacefully on July 16th, 2021 in his 91st year. He is predeceased by his beloved companion of nearly 70 years, Joyce Margaret (November 2020). Loving father of Cynthia, Lorraine (Alister) and Pam (Bill). Grandfather of Andrew Burgess (Vinessa-Rose), Robert Burgess (Codi-Lyn), Emily (Brian Turpin) and Allan Saunders. Great grandfather of Annabelle, Julian, Harley and Kathryn. Fred will be missed by his brother Arthur (Lois), sister Edith (Bill) and a number of nieces and nephews, both in Canada and England. He is predeceased by his siblings Earl and Anna, his parents William Ernest and Margaret McLellan.

Dad and Mom were life long residents of the Village of Franktown where they built the family home and raised us three girls. We are so very proud to be their daughters. We would like to thank all our family, Franktown neighbours, friends, Melinda and Dr. Ivanovich for their support, care and compassion over the years and especially to our grandparents Ford & Terry for giving us mom and dad for over 90 years. A private graveside service will be held at Franktown Public Cemetery. For those who wish, a donation to the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
