George Garrod Obituary

GARROD, GEORGE WESLEY

Passed peacefully in the early morning of January 23, 2023 at the Queensway Carleton Hospital at the age of 85. He was predeceased by his brother, Sonny Garrod. George is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Garrod (Williams) and his sisters, Gayle (Bill Claridge), Joyce Garrod (Woods) and his sister-in-law, Marion Garrod. Father to Sean (Gail) and Scott (Karen). Proud Poppa to Amy, Alan, Carson and Maddy.

George was a proud Military Veteran and after his retirement, he was a devoted Grandfather.

Friends are invited to join the family for a service on Saturday, February, 18, 2023 at 11 a.m. in Bethel Pentecostal Church, 301 County Road 29, Smiths Falls. K7A 4T4.

Anyone wishing to make a donation, please do so in his memory to the Ottawa Heart Institute.
