It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gertrude Bell, who passed away peacefully on June 24, 2026 surrounded by loved ones. Gertrude was a loving mother, caring grandmother, cherished sister and loyal friend. She had an incredible sense of humour and was a gifted story teller who can make anyone laugh. She created countless treasured memories with her family and always made those feel loved and welcomed. Gertrude is lovingly remembered by her children, Tracy, Brian, Jeff (Kelly) and Brandon; cherished grandchildren, Cassie, Miranda, Andrea, and Zoey; and her siblings Evelyn, (Pam), Jackie, Paulette (Rick) Connie (Philip), Freddie (Joanne), Linda and Alfonse. She was predeceased by her beloved partner, Gary White and by her brother John who passed way in April 2026. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate nursing staff at the Kemptville Hospital for their kindness they provide to Gertrude during her final days. Gertrude’s love, laughter, and generosity will never be forgotten. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will continue to inspire and comfort all who knew her. She will be deeply loved, forever missed, and always remembered.
