Glen Roy Elmy

Glen passed peacefully at home on Thursday, November 6, 2025, in his 85th year. Born in Picton, Ontario, Glen was the beloved husband of Maureen Elmy, loving father to Darren (Cindy), daughter Heather, stepson Joe Pert (Lara) and brother, Harold Elmy (Jane) of Lindsay, Ontario. He will be greatly missed by his two grandsons, Tyler Elmy and Sidney Pert. Predeceased by his mother, Ruth Amelia Elmy of Trenton, father Vernon Elmy and sister, Marg Elmy of Cambridge, Ontario.

“Mr. Hockey” as his friends called him, played in the Ottawa Citizen pick up league into his 60’s. Glen enjoyed home improvements, golf, boating and spending his winters in sunny Florida. He loved people and was always surrounded by long-term friends and co-workers.

Friends and family may pay their respects at Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place, Ontario from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Friday November 14, 2025.
