McEvoy, Isaac Roderick

Tragically, on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at the age of 22 years. Loved son of Stephanie Haines-McEvoy and William McEvoy. Survived by his partner Courtney Burgess, their son Elias McEvoy-Burgess; 5 months and his step-son Grayson Burgess. Cherished by his sister Jessica McEvoy; 19 yrs. and his brother Jacob McEvoy; 15 yrs. Loved grandson of Lewis and Mary McEvoy, paternal grandparents and Wayne and Rhoda Haines, maternal grandparents. Dear nephew of Ann Stearns, Rhonda Haines, Sinclair McEvoy, David McEvoy, Denis McEvoy and Edward McEvoy.

A celebration of Isaac’s life will be held on Saturday, November 9th at 2 pm, at the West Ottawa Community Church, Celebration Centre, 3123 Carp Road, Carp, ON K0A 1L0. In lieu of flowers donations to Focus on the Family Canada would be appreciated by the family, at:

Isaac was kind and caring, outgoing and a real joy to be around.  His laughter was always the loudest in the house or when he was with his friends.  He had a calling to protect those around him and was preparing for a career in the police services.  He was baptised in the waters of the Rideau River and he loved the Bible Camps that he attended.  Making friends wherever he went, Isaac was loved by all.  Isaac is missed deeply but we take comfort knowing that he is resting with The Lord awaiting the final resurrection.
