It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jacqueline on September 9, 2021. Surrounded by the love of her family, at 93 yrs old, Jacquie passed peacefully and is now reunited with her dear husband Daniel, the love of her life. Loving Mother to Robert (Sharron) Glenn, and Trish (Mike) Szafranski. She will be dearly missed by her Grandchildren, Natalie (John), Richard (Amanda), Michelle (Kevin) and Alec (Michaela) Adored by her Great Grandchildren, Emma, Daniel, Abby and Alexis or “Alexa” as her “GeGe” only called her by. She will be sadly missed by her sister Elise Grand Maitre. Predeceased by her sisters, Léonne and Max, her brothers Alec, René, Claude and Lucien. Friends are invited to visit at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home 19 McArthur Ave. Carleton Place, ON Friday September 17th from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday September 18th at 11 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 28 Hawthorne Ave. Carleton Place.  Attendance at the funeral home is limited to a maximum of 15 people at a time.  Family and friends planning to attend the visitation are kindly requested to RSVP to reserve their place on the Barker Funeral Home website www.barkerfh.com. Please note that face masks are mandatory at all times, social distancing must be observed with no physical contact. We would like to extend our thanks to the Terrace for all the kindness they have extended to our Mom over the past 3 yrs. We will be eternally grateful to the Staff at the Carleton Place Hospital, for the compassion and high standard of care Mom received.  A special thank you to Dr. Drake and Allie for all the years of care and thoughtfulness they have shown our Mom.
