Jacques "Jake" Guy Guertin

Jacques “Jake” Guy Guertin, 66, passed away peacefully at the Élisabeth Bruyère Hospital in the early morning on Monday, April 24, 2023, after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

He is survived by his wife Cathy (McBride), and his daughters Kristen (Mathew) Lafrance and Samantha Guertin, as well as his grandchildren Desmond and Brenna Lafrance. Predeceased by his brother Gerry, he will be greatly missed by his siblings, Pierre Guertin, Pauline (John) Bourgeois, Lyse Guertin, Raymond (Rose) Guertin, Mario Guertin and his many nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and great nephews.

His infectious laugh, playful sense of humour, and willingness to help will be missed by all who knew him, including numerous friends.

Thank you to all the family and friends that came by his bedside to visit during his hospital and hospice stays.
