James Raymond “Jim” McIsaac

 39 Years of service as a Paramedic

 Owner operator of Carleton Place Richmond Ambulance Service

First Chief of the newly created

Lanark County Ambulance Service in 2000

2012 Recipient from the Governor General of the 30-year bar for his

Emergency Medical Services Exemplary Service Medal.

Longtime Community Volunteer with the Masonic Lodge and Shriners

Passed away peacefully at the age of 69, on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Renfrew Victoria Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Cherished husband of Karin (Dunlop) for 44 years. Loved father of William McIsaac and Robert McIsaac (Courtney).  Loving grandfather of Steven. Dear brother of Karen McGee (Scott). Remembered by his brother-in-law Wayne Dunlop. Uncle of Christopher McGee, Adam and Diane McGee and their children Aubrey and Declan.

After retiring in 2013, Jim and Karin moved to Ladysmith Quebec to operate a campground. When they were not hosting family and friends at their property, they would spend their time travelling Canada and the USA in their RV.

A Masonic service will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024 in St. John’s Lodge #63, 55 Bridge Street, Carleton Place at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or Shriners Hospitals for Children would be appreciated by the family.
