James (Jim) Warren Raley
September 18, 1963 – October 17, 2025

With broken hearts we mourn the loss of a beautiful soul. A man with a heart of gold, a kind and loving heart, a heart that took you from us.

A loving and proud father of 2 sons Joshua (pre-deceased) & Sam Raley. Beloved son to Bill & Lucy Raley, brother to Wade (Penny), Bill (Marina), Scott (Angie), and Lianne (Phil). Uncle to many nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews. Jim was a great father who truly loved his sons and wanted to give them the best lives possible. He loved showing them new things and teaching them how to work in his profession. Jim was a superb craftsman, artist and photographer. He also loved the outdoors and motorcycling.

Jim’s sharp mind & quick wit always kept us on our toes, always laughing with a smile.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 1st, 2025 from 1:00 - 3:00p.m. at Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place, ON. 

For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
