It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom, on May 18, 2026.
Loving wife of the late Ronald Kelly for 72 years. Daughter of the late Felix and Annette Touchette and daughter in law of the late Elmer and Ruth Kelly. Preceded by her beautiful daughter Susan Futter, brother Sonny (late Edna) and sister Norma Chambers. Cherished Mother of Pat (Jeff), Ricky (Carol), Gail (Doug), Jocelynne (Leon), Billy (Monique), Lambert (Melanie), and Anne (Mark). Sister of David (late Verna) Touchette and Elsie (George) Black. She will be missed by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mom raised a family of 8 children and did all the bookkeeping for dads contracting business. She worked for many years at Peppies Drug at Almonte Heritage Mall and then Pharma Plus as a bookkeeper. Previously employed at Alberta Social Services, Alberta Mental Health and other jobs included legal secretary and secretary at a real estate office in Grande Cache Alberta.
She was actively involved in the United Church in Grande Cache. After working Mom was a volunteer at Carleton Place Hospital. She loved her work and made many friends.
Her hobbies included baking, reading, gardening, playing cards, cross country skiing, knitting and sewing. Dad and Mom were known for their honey and homemade wine.
She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew and cherished her. A wise, compassionate, gentle soul of great strength and courage.
