Peacefully with family by her side on the morning of Wednesday, March 27,2024 at the age of 70, Janet Evelyn MacGregor passed away at the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital.

Loving and devoted mother to Terra Whitehead (Jason) and Breann (Chad Webster), and adoring Nana of Briar (Alex), Jaylynn, Cooper and Brynnlee. Beloved sister to Murray (Linda), Joyce (Donald) McRae, Ross (predeceased Sheryl) and Glenn (Marjorie). Cherished “Aunt Jan-Jan” to many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Lovingly remembered by Lindsey Carbonette, Kristen James and many extended family & friends. Predeceased by her parents, Isabel and Ray, brother Earl (Kathleen), and special friend Cheryl James.

A visitation will be held on Monday April 8, 2024 between 9:00am–11:00am at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home & Chapel, 19 McArthur Avenue in Carleton Place, service to follow in the Chapel with Rev. Heather Kinkaid officiating. Interment will be held at Ault Kirk Cemetery in Almonte at a later date. Please join family and friends following the service at the Royal Canadian Legion, 177 George St, Carleton Place to celebrate the life of Janet.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to her family physician, Dr. Marcia Spooner, the ladies of Dynacare-Carleton Place, the ladies of the Anticoagulation Clinic-Ottawa Heart Institute, and the staff of the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital for their continued care and support, especially during her final journey.
