Janice Hale

Hale, Janice Emma of Smith Falls passed away peacefully, December 2, 2025 in her 81st year. She is predeceased by her father Ed Hale, her mother Emily and her brother Douglas.

Janice is survived by her children Steven & Alison Godfrey, Cyndy and Barry Saul and Shawn Godfrey and Sheri. Her grandchildren, Andrew & Krista, Sara & Josh, Alanna & Austin, Kierra, Daniel & Jess, Jadeyn & Aevan. Her great-grandchildren Isabella, Sahara, Alexis, Eli and Liliana.

The family would like to thank the staff at Smiths Falls General Hospital and Broadview Nursing Centre for their dedication to her care and comfort. Janice was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Smiths Falls where she found strength and a sense of community in her final years.

Janice shared her love of the outdoors, animals and art with all those that knew her.

Graveside service & Internment will be held  at St James Cemetery in  Carleton Place on June 27, 2026.
