Jeffeory David Dean Jarvis
1969 - 2026
We are so sad to tell everyone who knew and loved Jeff of his passing on March 31st from Leukemia. Jeff leaves his Mom & Dad, Melba & Cliff, his brother & wife, Brandon & Leah, nephew Myles and niece Fiona with heavy hearts. His wife Lisa (deceased) was the love of his life and he missed her every day. Jeff will be sadly missed by his aunts & uncles, Lorraine & Paul MacDowall, Bev Miller, Keith & Eileen McNeely, Ken & Deb Jarvis, Dean & Kim Jarvis. Scott Jarvis a very close cousin, and many others. Jeff’s forever friends and the Hopetown family he made, were very dear to his heart. A very special thank you to Keith for taking care of his animals and property while in hospital as well as Barry and Wade for being there.
Jeff was an outdoors guy, he was an avid fisherman and used to deer hunt until him & Lisa bought their home, and moved to Hopetown, where many many deer visited their back yard. He even named a few. Jeffeory loved his animals, his dog Jake and cat Peony and his pet chickens would follow him everywhere. He even took his chicken to the vet when sick. Jeff was a perfectionist which was apparent from his skills in building construction, attested to by many people. He loved his time with friends, playing guitar, enjoying company and laughing a lot. He was very stubborn, private and independent, & anyone that knew him would agree.
The Carleton Place & District Memorial hospital should be very proud of the caring staff, nurses, and doctors. The care Jeff received was exceptional, the staff and nurses were pleasant, courteous, caring and empathetic. A special thank you to Nurse Amyco who always made Jeff smile, her bedside manner was what Jeff needed. The many hugs and kind words we received warmed our hearts and we thank you. A very special thank you to Drs. Marie Bastin-Millar & Den Ivanovitch, for the care, compassion and hugs during this unbelievable difficult time for us.
By honouring Jeff’s wishes, there will be no service and no celebration of Life, and as he said, “I’ve celebrated with them already”, but we will get together later for Jeff, and notifications will be made.
