Jennie Dawn Violet (Maginn) Watt

Surrounded by family and love, Jennie Dawn Violet Watt (nee Maginn) passed away peacefully at the age of 48 on October 3, 2025 at the Ottawa General Hospital after a short battle with cancer. She was a beloved wife to Jack Watt and loving mother to Harley Bell (Nick Powell) as well as an adoring Nena to Ivy, Aurora, and Rowen. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. 

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home (19 McArthur Ave, Carleton Place) on Thursday, October 9, 2025 beginning at 11:00 a.m. A funeral service will take place in the Chapel at 12:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Middleville. A light lunch and gathering will follow at the Middleville Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Cancer Society of Canada.
