Jim Moffatt passed away peacefully at Granite Ridge Care Community on Saturday, April 15, 2023 just shy of his 76th birthday.  Jim was a loving husband to Sue Moffatt for 41 years and a beloved father to his sons, Aaron Moffatt and Jason Meech (Liz). Jim is also survived by his grand daughter, Abigail and his brothers, Tim Moffatt, Mike Moffatt (Lulia) and Scott LaForty (Natalie).  He is predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Edith and his sister, Pamela Anne Moffatt. He will be remembered fondly by his nieces, nephews and friends.

Jim loved music, sports, hunting, fishing and he was a cub leader when his boys were growing up. 

Friends are invited to a Celebration of his Life on Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. in the party room of Johanne’s Court, 154 McGregor Street, Carleton Place.

Memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Parkinson Canada.
