Retired from the Ottawa Civic Hospital – 35 Years service.

Unexpectedly, at home in Ottawa, on Thursday November 9, 2023, at the age of 91. Predeceased by his parents James and Hilda Lesway, and his siblings Ray (Kay), Jim (Margaret), Ronnie (Laura), Margaret (Cecil), Mary (Leo) and Joe. John will be especially missed by his niece Linda Greene (Richard) and all his nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Friends may support the family at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place, on Tuesday November 14, 2023 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. The service will be livestreamed on YouTube, to view please go to YouTube and search "BarkerFH John Lesway" beginning at 10:55 am (Eastern Standard Time). Interment at Auld Kirk Cemetery.
