It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of John McDonald at the age of 38 on June 21, 2026.

John leaves behind his beloved children Andrew, Myrabelle, Murdock, Alekhandr, and his mother Cheryl White (Randy). He will be deeply missed by his sister Ashley McDonald and nephews Abram, Daxton, Colt, and Walker as well as his numerous relatives, friends, and colleagues. Predeceased by his father, Andy, and his grandparents George & Mary McDonald, and Margaret White.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home (19 McArthur Ave, Carleton Place) on Thursday July 2, 2026 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. John will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Carleton Place.
