It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of John "Jack" Albert, at the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital/ on Monday, May 25, 2026, at the age of 88 years.
Beloved husband of the late Margaret Ann Albert (née Turner), Jack and Margaret shared a lifetime of love and family. Loving father of Susan Cator (Norman) and Stephen Albert (Wendy). Proud grandfather of James, Ben, Matthew, and Chelsea (Connor) Cator, and Mikayla (Dallas) and Ryan Albert, and cherished great-grandfather of Bethany and Mia.

Jack enjoyed spending time outdoors and sharing stories with family and friends. His kindness, humour, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Family and friends may visit at the Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place on Sunday, June 14, 2026 for an informal gathering from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. with a brief prayer at 3 p.m. Inurnment to follow at Pinecrest Cemetery, Ottawa on Monday.
