Passed away at Carleton Place Hospital on Monday June 28, 2021. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, on October 7, 1928.

John emigrated to Montreal in 1952 after serving in the British Army in the Middle East on a peace keeping mission after WWII. He worked at Northern Electric/ BNR/ Nortel for 37 years. He loved flying his Cessna, curling (Governor Generals Trophy), golfing (hole-in-one at Beckwith Golf Course) and spending time at the cottage with his family. Dad’s humour and dedication to his family will always be remembered. Our parents demonstrated a love and commitment rarely lived. PWXS.
