SAUNDERS, Joyce Idena.  Peacefully at The Terrace, Carleton Place, on Wednesday, October 11th, 2023 in her 93rd year. Loving wife for fifty-nine years of the late Mac Saunders. Dear mother of the late Karen (late David) Dorman, Julie (Layne) Butler, Debbie (Jeff) Brennan and Helen Saunders (Tom Hoffman). Cherished grandmother of Angela (Les), Phillip (Maggie), Heather, Kathleen, and Lily, and proud great-grandmother. Special aunt of Anita Syme and Janet Fisher.  Sister of June, Judy and Gloria. Predeceased by her parents Benjamin and Edith Stanzel and siblings Beth and Mervyn. Friends may call at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place on Tuesday, October 17th, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Visitation will be followed by a funeral service officiated by Reverend Barry Carr.
