Judi Windsor
December 2, 1956 to August 25, 2024
At peace Judi passed away quietly on Sunday, August 25th. Her final days were supported by the caring staff of TOH (The Ottawa Hospital) who need to be commended for their compassion and commitment to her care.
Judi was a unique individual who will be missed by the multitude of friends she developed over the years. She developed a snowbird family based in Parker Arizona. A significant void will be created in her Lorne Bridge Road family. An even larger void will be created in her immediate family. She was way too young to leave the Rideau River. A place she loved and shared with Ed Robinson, her loving partner of 31 years who was by her side to her final breaths. We are confident she will be looking down on us, especially during the spring floods……and she won’t need her rubber boots or hip waders.
Heaven will be a better place at our expense but we will never forget the great times she gave us while we had the opportunity to share her being.
Judi and her awesome sense of humour will be missed by her soul mate Ed Robinson and her step father Al Micus. Brothers and sisters (and in-laws) Steve and Heather, Michael and Emerald, Mary Ellen and Jim (Goode), Glen and Marika. Sister in-law to Kenny & Sandy Quaile. Aunt Judi to Jeff & Trevor Quaile, Chelsea Miller (Sean Wood). Kyle Miller (Brigitte, Triston Alberton & Madison Miller) Ryan Miller, Matthew Miller, Emily (Kyle, Henry & Max Devries). Korby (Phil, Luca & Nico Roppovalente) and Maggie Miller. Judi is predeceased by her mother Mary Micus.
The family would like to acknowledge the selfless support of Jim and Dale Kelly as Judi charted her path to ultimate peace.
A celebration on the lawn and at the river will be held for family and friends on Monday September 2 from 2:00 to 5:00 All are welcome to 2014 River Road to celebrate Judi.
