June Florence Mary Thomas
It is with sadness that the family of June Florence Mary Thomas (nee Lahey) announces her peaceful passing at the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital on August 29, 2023, at the age of 83. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Neil Thomas, her parents, Ernie and Rose Lahey, her brother, Gerald Lahey and her sister, Eileen Ireland. She is survived by her children, Wayne Thomas (Patty), Jerry Thomas (Louise) and her sister, Louise Damphouse. June leaves a legacy in her grand children, Eric Thomas, Lara Ward (nee Thomas), Mathew Thomas, Sarah Thomas and her great-grand daughter, Abigail.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Hope Cemetery Chapel, 4660 Bank St., Ottawa, Ontario. Interment will follow at Hope Cemetery.
