Peacefully at home on Monday, May 1st, 2023, Leslie C. North passed away surrounded by loved ones. Dear father of Corey, and Adam (Christine) proud Grandfather of Rebecca, Finley, Wyatt, & Parker. Beloved brother to Gwen, Ruth, Charlie (Lynn), Joe, (Grace) Jean, (Bernie) Loreen, (Garry) Bruce, (Robin) Anna, Donald (Bonnie), Marie, Irene, Ron, and Roger (Fern). Loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Nephew of Grace McCaughtery and Robert (Bob). Predeceased by Mother and Father, Bessie and Leslie and Brothers, Edward, Douglas and Sister Doreen. Predeceased Brothers in-law, Pat Needham, Peter Couturier.
Proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion for 50 years.
Inurnment at Capital Memorial Gardens on July 21st, 2023 at 10:30am. Celebration of life to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion in Stittsville.
The family welcomes donations to Carleton Place and District Memorial Hospital and the Lanark Food Bank in lieu of flowers in memory of Leslie North.
