Lori Lowe Obituary

In Loving Memory of Lori Ann Lowe

April 24, 1966 - May 22, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce that our dear sister Lori passed away suddenly at her home at the age of 58. Predeceased by her mother, Diane Johnson, her father, James Lowe, and step-father, Colin Johnson. Much loved by her sisters, Julie Lowe (Jason Gervais), and Linda (Lowe) Bennett, as well as her nephews, Bronson and Logan Bennett, and her niece, Kayla (Gervais) Najem.

Lori was a well-known individual in the town of Carleton Place where she lived for most of her life. She was often seen riding her bike or walking uptown. She would often stop to have a little chat with people whom she met. Throughout her life, she loved listening to music. She was independent, intelligent, and had a great sense of humor. She had a generous heart, and took joy in buying thoughtful gifts for others. She never forgot a family member's birthday.

Lori's family sincerely appreciates all of the love and support shown to them at this difficult time. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.

For those who wish, donations may be made in Lori's honour to Lanark County Interval House.

Our memories build a special bridge

When loved ones have to part
To help us feel were with them still

And soothe a grieving heart
They span the years and warm our lives

Preserving ties that bind

Our memories build a special bridge
And bring us peace of mind
