Lynda Burger

Early in the morning of Wednesday, June 18, 2025, we said goodbye to Lynda Burger, who passed peacefully in her sleep after a courageous and determined battle with cancer. In her last weeks she was surrounded by her loved ones and friends, and kept everyone in good spirits with her smile and attitude.

Lynda was always a lively and caring person, lighting up a room, and connecting with everyone she met. Working in the community as a bookkeeper, she was an important part of many peoples business’ but more so provided a shoulder to cry on, words to lift the spirit, and a always a supportive friend.

She leaves behind her devoted partner of over 30 years, Brock, her son Kristan and partner April, two granddaughters; Tesla and Isolde, brother John and partner Nicole, and countless lifelong friends whom she touched deeply. 

 A Celebration of Life will be held on July 4th, 2025 at Barker Funeral Home,19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place, ON. from 9a.m. - 10:45a.m. with a service to follow in the chapel at 11a.m.
